Hello, I'm Sanu
maker · crocheter · the hands behind SB Artistry

Where it all began
SB Artistry started quietly — a hook, a ball of yarn, and no real plan. What began as a way to unwind became something I couldn't put down.
I'm a self-taught crocheter from Nagercoil, now working out of Chennai. It started with flowers, then bags, then slowly everything in between. What keeps me hooked isn't any one thing — it's the craft itself. Every piece is stitched by hand, one loop at a time. No machines, no shortcuts.
What SB Artistry stands for
A small business built on intention, not scale.
Made by hand, always
No two pieces are exactly alike — and that's the whole point.
Designed with care
I write and test every pattern myself before it becomes a product.
Custom is my favourite word
The best commissions are the ones with a story behind them.
Slow, intentional making
I'd rather deliver something beautiful late than mediocre on time.
The craft I keep coming back to
What I love about crochet is how much it can become — a tiny amigurumi one day, a bouquet that lasts long after the moment the next, a bag or a charm after that. Same hook, same stitches, pointed in a different direction each time. When I'm not making, I'm usually designing the next pattern or photographing a finished piece.
Have something in mind?
Whether it's a custom order or a crochet conversation, I'd love to hear from you.
